Mite out - getting rid of Varroa Mites without chemicals (2018)

As we go int 2018 I have two hives that have had a summer shook swarm treatment.

Hive one was given a two stage shook swarm in September 2015
Hive two was given a two stage shook swarm in August 2017

There are eight hives in the apiary and the plan is to move them all to a chemical free brood removal management system. One of the hives out of the six will be kept queenless for several weeks in the spring for queen cell building.
